    Supervisor of the Plasma Research Group (Department of Electronics, Informatics, and Systems - University of Calabria) and CEO of SenSysCal S.r.l. His research interests include distributed computing, wireless sensor networks, multimedia systems, agent-oriented technology and systems, and applied software engineering.
  • Raffaele GravinaPhD (University of Calabria, Italy), Website - rgravina(at)deis(dot)unical(dot)it

    He received the PhD degree in computer engineering from the University of Calabria, Italy, in 2012. His research interests are focused on high-level programming methods for WSNs. He is the main designer of the SPINE Framework and responsible for the open-source contributions. He spent two years as researcher at the Telecom Italia WSN Lab at Berkeley, California. He is involved in several research projects on WSNs, including AD-PERSONAS, MAPS and the REWSN Cluster of CONET FP7. He is co-founder of SenSysCal S.r.l.
  • Antonio GuerrieriPhD (University of Calabria, Italy), aguerrieri(at)deis(dot)unical(dot)it

    He received the PhD degree in computer engineering from the University of Calabria, Italy, in 2012. His research interests are focused on design methods for high-level programming of wireless sensor networks. He is involved in several research projects on wireless sensor networks such as SPINE, BMF, MAPS and FP7 CONET. He is a co-founder of SenSysCal S.r.l., a spin-off of University of Calabria.

    He is the director of MSc Advanced Computer Science and currently an Associate Professor at the University of Reading.
